I had a really wonderful day and I'm feeling very giving so I am posting an extra chapter for all my followers. Happy Holidays to everyone, whatever you celebrate (if anything at all) and have a safe New Year. I will see everyone back here for the big finish next week.

Have a great weekend everybody.
I learned surprisingly little about punctuation and grammar in my English degree. Go figure. It was mostly delving into the meaning of obscure, shitty poetry and old books from the canon. I had one grammar class and it taught more about clauses and infinitives than punctuation. So, here is the meme for dialogue punctuation. Now, most of this I already knew just from reading, but I always kind of wondered about the question mark and exclamation point endings in dialogue. Technically they are full stops like a period but the dialogue tag is not capitalized after a question mark or exclamation point but like after a comma.
Now you know, (que the colour swirl and music); if you live in Canada and are 30 or older you know what I mean. For the life of me I can't find anything decent to read. I mean nothing. I'm at about 7 or 8 books in a row that were just crap crap crap. I squeezed in one good from Kim Harrison but other than that all crap. Sometimes I feel like I've read every decent book out there, which obviously can't be true. What is everyone else reading? Tell me please....
Yes, Chapter 46 is up and ready. Can't stay and chat I gotta run. Have a good weekend everyone.
So it's official, I've read 6 really bad books in a row. I mean really, really bad. I don't know what it is that I keep choosing such terrible titles but I do. The latest is Twin Souls. It's so eerily similar to Twilight I can't believe it, but like all the other bad books I've read recently, nothing happens. Ever. It's page after page of nothing. The character doesn't progress, the action doesn't progress, it's little more than "I don't know I feel about this event that happened but I am going to have a really illogical reaction." Whatever, on to the next I guess.
I am not posting the next chapter of AMARANTHINE this week because I am trying to slow down the last few chapters but I will post a few more pages of some stuff that got cut, so check that out in the Odds n' Ends section. |
