If I was a movie who would play me?

I'm sure most writers have daydreamed about this at some point. If my book gets published and one day they make it into a movie who would play my main characters?

This is hard for me because some of my characters look a certain way in my head and there just isn't an actor out there that could do them justice.

Astral is actually the easiest. I always saw her as a tall, buxom, blond with tilted blue eyes and a soft sweet face. Doutzen Kroes was always who I thought of when I thought of her. Now of course whenever I think of her I see the chick on my cover, whoever she is. Some nameless model somewhere. She fits the bill perfectly, and she has firmly become the face of my heroine.

Davn is the hardest. He's tall, with a lanky but muscular body and a face that would make angels weep. Dark hair and eyes, and did I say tall? 6'4" to be precise. It's hard to find tall actors these days. No matter what I can't find a picture of anyone who could seriously play him in a movie. He'll have to be drawn and animated in or something.

Georgianna, I almost have too much to choose from since there are so many dark haired starlets, but it's the face that's key. She is small, with a pointy, pretty face and dark hair. She's very lithe and athletic, which makes it a little harder since most actresses these days are getting their boobs done, and that's not her at all. Courtney Cox has the look closest to my Georgia. If CC was 18 and her eyes were violet instead of blue she'd be perfect.

Maksim, is easy. Big, blond, blue eyes. His face is chiseled and beautiful but still rugged in a way. He's not a pretty boy, and he's brawny, so none of the waify boy band look-a-likes would do. Chris Hemsworth is as close as I can find to fit my imagination.

Finally, Saraid (pronounced Shar-eed) She is a nasty gal, but she's still pretty, when I wrote her I saw her as Nina Dobrev, she's got straight nut brown hair, brown eyes and a roundish face. Nina is a bit young though, since Saraid is late twenties in the book. The key to Saraid is the voice. She has a deep husky voice for a woman and Nina's is just perfect.

Well that's it. My vision for AMARANTHINE the movie... In my dreams haha. But seriously it will be on the market in about a week so keep an eye out for it. I have been dreaming of book two and I have it mostly written in my head. I'm struggling with the fate of a main character right now. He may not make it to book 3. We'll see.

Ciao for now

Writing is more than a hobby or a profession. It's a state of being, where the actions and dialogue of fictional characters occupies more space in your head than your own.
